Hand-woven Waraji Sandals
Waraji are a style of straw sandals traditionally worn in Japan and featured in a number of popular series where the characters wear more traditional-style costumes. Worn with tabi, these sandals can complete a rugged Japanese samurai's outfit or just worn around the house.
Our Waraji are woven of 100% jute twine by hand.
Standard Sizes
DO NOT RELY ON SHOE SIZE FOR FOOT LENGTH! To find your foot length, measure your foot (bare or in a sock) from the tip of your longest toe to the end of your heel. Only measure the sole of your foot. Strange Land Costuming can weave special petite, wide or extra-large waraji by request
