Hakama Thick, comfortable, and fun to wear, hakama are traditional Japanese pleated
pants, still worn today by martial arts practicioners. Whether you're looking for an authentic historical feel or a touch of
Asian class to a modern outfit, or even a specific color and style for a media recreation, we can get you what you need!
ORDERING Send an email to SLC with your specifications. List your color preference, himo color preference, modesty panel preference, and your waist size (in inches) and outer leg length. If we have any problems finding the linen color you need, you will be contacted with options. Please allow one month minimum turnaround time. SIZING AND PRICING Measure your waist and the outside of your leg, from your waistline to your ankle. This will determine how much fabric we need for your size, as below:
Petite: $90 plus shipping Small: $99 plus shipping Medium: $108 plus shipping Large: $115 plus shipping XL: $120 plus shipping Why the difference? Prices vary due to the yardage of fabric needed for a set of hakama. They're very big with lots of pleats! Shipping may vary due to the weight of the finished hakama; contact SLC for options. In a crunch? Need it faster or cheaper? Contact SLC to negotiate hakama made from cotton bottomweight instead of linen. |
